Spring Carnival
The Rivers Edge PTA’s Spring Carnival will be on Friday, May 11 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. The carnival is held in the back of the school. Games, tattoos, face painting, and prizes will all be available for your entertainment. We’ve got some exciting changes lined up for this year. For food this year we are having 2 different vendor trucks on site to serve hot, fresh meals. The trucks are the CiCi’s Pizza truck and the Chupacabra Tex Mex Truck. Menus and pricing will be sent home on the back of your ticket order forms. We will also have the Kona Ice Truck on site for a yummy treat as well as popcorn for sale. Spring Carnival Ticket Order Forms will be sent home in early April.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults DO NOT need to purchase carnival tickets. The advance purchase price of $7 per child (max $21 per family) is only good until April 20th so get those order forms turned in early. The carnival will go on rain or shine, in case of rain we will move the carnival inside.
Another exciting change is that children will get a raffle ticket for each game they participate in. This is in addition to the “prize” they receive if they win when playing. The raffle ticket will be eligible for many exciting, kid friendly prizes such as Spirit Wear Credit/Sweet Frog Gift Certificates and Movie Tickets. These are just a few of the many items!
Volunteers are also needed the day of the carnival. We need your help to make this event happen! Please consider signing up for a 30 minute time slot. If you would like to be added to the volunteer roster, please contact Tiffany Baham at jtbaham@comcast.net.
